A skip is now costing about £140.00 (+ vat) each, holding about 5 ton of rubble and emptying this costs around £28.00 (+ vat) per ton.

These, in addition to new EU waste legislation are designed to minimise waste disposal from all construction projects by way of on site recycling where possible.Crushed stone on site costs on average £10 (+ vat) per ton, giving a muck away cost of £38 (+ vat) per ton.
